Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy explains what data Clips, published by The great, handles and why. Contact: therm.firm.8i@icloud.com.
1. Data we handle
- TikTok account data (via Login Kit, scope
user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar, used to show which account you are posting to. - TikTok access tokens: stored in files with owner-only permissions on the device or server running your studio, readable only by the Service, never shared and never shown in the interface.
- Your content: the video or audio files you import (or the link to your own published video), lyrics you type and the clips generated. They stay on your computer and are used only to create and share your clips.
2. How we use it
Only to provide the features you use: creating clips, uploading them to your TikTok account (video.upload, video.publish) when you ask for it. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising and do not build profiles.
3. Sharing
Data is sent to TikTok only to perform the actions you request through TikTok's official APIs. We share nothing with any other third party, except if required by law.
4. Retention and deletion
Disconnecting an account in Clips deletes its tokens and profile data. Clips are kept on your device until you delete them. You can revoke Clips' access at any time in TikTok (Settings and privacy > Security > Manage app permissions). To request deletion of any data, email therm.firm.8i@icloud.com; we answer within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to its processing, by emailing therm.firm.8i@icloud.com. You can also complain to the French data protection authority (CNIL).
6. Security
Tokens are stored with restricted file permissions and only transmitted over HTTPS to TikTok.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for people under 18.
8. Changes
We will update this page and its date if this policy changes.
